What's new in MedicosTV 1.0
Unlike many other countries, Indian education system is very complicated. For an Indian medical student, it is not enough only to study books, but he/she must also have all the information including exam notification, change in existing laws that concerns doctors or change in exam pattern.However to solve this problem, there are many sources provide information to medicos. There are blogs, websites and facebook pages. Unfortunately no source is comprehensive on its own. So if a student depends on a single source he/she might miss a good piece of information. On the other hand, surfing multiple sources causes anxiety as well as wastage of time.
In medicosTV, we have tried to solve this problem in an innovative way. By the method of simple rss feed, we collect information from almost all those credible sources ( 1200+ websites total including news , govt websites and job portals ), filter and categorize them in separate channels and display in a user-friendly manner. The end result is that you get all the information at your fingertip in 2 minutes.
MedicosTV Permissions
Full network access - allows the app to create network sockets and use custom network protocols. the browser and other applications provide means to send data to the internet, so this permission is not required to send data to the internetPrevent device from sleeping - allows the app to prevent the device from going to sleep
View network connections - allows the app to view information about network connections such as which networks exist and are connected
View wi-fi connections - allows the app to view information about wi-fi networking, such as whether wi-fi is enabled and name of connected wi-fi devices
Run at startup - allows the app to have itself started as soon as the system has finished booting. this can make it take longer to start the device and allow the app to slow down the overall device by always running
Modify or delete the contents of your usb storage - allows the app to write to the usb storage
Control vibration - allows the app to control the vibrator
Control flashlight - allows the app to control the flashlight
Read the contents of your usb storage - allows the app to read the contents of your usb storage
