Chat now with millions of people nearby or around the world, make new friends, be social and more, all the cost of just a simple Facebook login. This app would bring closer users having similar interests in movies, interests, academics, work and most importantly location. It allows you to meet new people around your nearby location. This location or vicinity will be determined by the user. When any user is in fact in the vicinity of another, having complementing interests they would get notifications about the same. The only purpose of the application would be casual social networking, staring from a simple poke to full fledged one on one chat.Features:

Multi-device support:
To use this app with more than one device, just enter your authentication code in "I Have Already Got One". Your Authentication code can be found on the "Settings" page.
Location Services:
By default Location Services is OFF. It can be turned ON from Settings page. One needs to follow the path /Settings/Privacy/Location Services to turn on location services for Proximity Social. Once ON, it keeps track of your current location, even when the app is in background, so that it can find the suitable matches in your proximity.

Continued use of GPS/ Location Services running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.
Proximity Social Permissions
Use accounts on the device - allows the app to request authentication tokensFull network access - allows the app to create network sockets and use custom network protocols. the browser and other applications provide means to send data to the internet, so this permission is not required to send data to the internet
Precise location (gps and network-based) - allows the app to get your precise location using the global positioning system (gps) or network location sources such as cell towers and wi-fi. these location services must be turned on and available to your device for the app to use them. apps may use this to determine where you are, and may consume additional battery power

Read the contents of your usb storage - allows the app to read the contents of your usb storage
Draw over other apps - allows the app to draw on top of other applications or parts of the user interface. they may interfere with your use of the interface in any application, or change what you think you are seeing in other applications
Find accounts on the device - allows the app to get the list of accounts known by the device. this may include any accounts created by applications you have installed
Receive data from internet - allows apps to accept cloud to device messages sent by the app's service. using this service will incur data usage. malicious apps could cause excess data usage
Approximate location (network-based) - allows the app to get your approximate location. this location is derived by location services using network location sources such as cell towers and wi-fi. these location services must be turned on and available to your device for the app to use them. apps may use this to determine approximately where you are
Modify or delete the contents of your usb storage - allows the app to write to the usb storage
