TRAPS-CK est une application utilisée lors de courses de slalom de canoë kayak. Installée sur des terminaux android de type smartphones ou tablettes, elle permet aux juges de portes et chronomètreurs d'envoyer les pénalités et impulsions de départs et arrivée aux secrétariats de course. La transmission peut se faire par WIFI ou SMS selon les installations présentes sur le site de compétition. À la différence de systèmes radios ad-hoc utilisés par les prestataires, cette solution repose uniquement sur du matériel et une infrastructure grand public. Elle est donc 10 fois moins chère et peut être pilotée par n'importe quel membre de l'organisation. Les pénalités et les chronos sont directement envoyées au logiciel FFCanoe de la Fédération Française de Canoë Kayak.TRAPS Canoe Permissions

Receive text messages (sms) - allows the app to receive and process sms messages. this means the app could monitor or delete messages sent to your device without showing them to you
Send sms messages - allows the app to send sms messages. this may result in unexpected charges. malicious apps may cost you money by sending messages without your confirmation
Connect and disconnect from wi-fi - allows the app to connect to and disconnect from wi-fi access points and to make changes to device configuration for wi-fi networks
